Passage Through a Hell of Fire and Ice (PB)
One of the most epic battle performances in the history of warfare, was performed during the first five months of the Korean War. This book focuses on those first five months and tells the story of the Marines who fought through them.
The books story centers around the recollections of one Marine as he tells the story of a platoon of Mud Marines, moving from the peacetime Marine Corps to a wartime Marine Corps, that would dispatch them on an expedition that would take them on a journey through a hell of fire and ice, to write one of the proudest pages in the history of The Marine Corps.
