"Happy Hour" print by LtCol Bill Cody, USMC (Ret.), depicts a scene from Tun Tavern. Each Marine is wearing a uniform style from various eras of Marine Corps history.
"Esprit d' corps" binds warriors together spiritually as a fighting unit. Some describe it as an intense "all for one and one for all" attitude. The camaraderie manifested is displayed in many ways - in battle, on the parade ground, and in the daily life of a military unit. Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Airmen may go to war for their country, but they fight and die for each other. The espirit d'corps felt by U.S. Marines of all ages is vividly brought to life in this painting. LtCol Bill Cody is a retired U.S. Marine infantry officer with 30 years active service afloat and ashore.
