Then there's Sgt Zick who defended the dignity of tanks after a captain badmouthed its capabilities by accidentally running over the captain's new sports car using one of the 50-ton monsters. Duncan declares most of the antics in his book are true. He explained, however, that sea stories wouldn't be sea stories without stretching the truth a little.
